His Majesty Leopold, King of the Belgians
Unlike most European monarchs, Leopold was elected to the position of King by the National Assembly of Belgium and as such he enjoys the title of King of the Belgians and is a popular monarch both in legal terms and real terms. He rejected the throne of Greece earlier in his life and is seen as an anglophile having been married to the Princess Charlotte before she died.
Premier Albert Krondijjk
Albert Krondijjk, Baron Krondijjk, is the newly appointed Premier of Belgium, unlike his successor he is seen to be a bumbling fool. Albert was born in Bruges to a noble family and did a Grand Tour of Europe when he was a young lad. It is through the tour that Albert learned to speak many languages, that being French, English, German and Spanish as well as being a native speaker of Dutch. Albert is a devout Catholic and as leader of the Catholic Party he has educated King Leopold, a Protestant, in Catholic mantra and has ensured that Leopold's heir apparent the Duke of Brabant has been raised Catholic.
Baron Danielle Goldsko
Son of Polish Jewish migrants, Danielle is a native of Walloonia and refuses to speak what he refers to as the "freaky deaky Dutch", with a shaven head and a fondness of white coats, Danielle is consider to very mentally unstable but a very adept Treasurer. Danielle decided to become a Catholic for political gains, it is rumoured that he still practices Judaism in private. To add further suspicion to Danielle's acts it is rumoured that he is building something he refers to as a "laser" to attack the Netherlands. Goldsko's time in government may be short once an adept replacement can be found.

Count Louis Baillis
Count Baillis is a native of Brussels and from a native French speaking background but also speaks Dutch and a small amount of German. Louis is seen to be more of a liberal member of the Catholic Party and is taking the first steps for the creation of a national police force in Belgium and eventually localising it, he has a strong support of Tariffs to ensure the Belgian farmers keep their products in Belgium before sending their grain elsewhere. Louis is a rising star within the Catholic Party and has the support of members for further promotion though his rival Goldsko may have something to say about this.
Count Jean Anthony
Jean Anthony is a key member of the Foreign Office, adept and thoughtful his actions are always planned. He is a known British sympathiser and served three year in the Belgian mission in Belgium. Far too fond of rum though, Count Anthony is often found at his desk with a dram of rum in a glass smoking his pipe.
