Georges Gusteau, Premier of France. A big, beefy rogue who shouted and blustered his way to power. Immensely popular with the rabble, mostly for his ability to cause scandal wherever he find himself. Veteran of the Battle of Paris, where it is alleged that he set low a Prussian horseman with a well-aimed (and empty) brandy bottle. Leader of the Orleanist Party, and successor of Henri La Meur.
Louis Phillipe, King of the French. A mild-mannered fellow with an above-average intellect. The King enjoys popularity with the masses following his leadership in the Battle of Paris.
Le Goff, Minister for Finance. The Sergeant-turned-Officer-turned-lumber-merchant-turned-playwright-turned-financier-turned-politician strikes again!
Marshal Jordi Bertrand, 1st Duke Meaux, Head of the Army. One-legged, pissed-off Parisian.
General Dordogne. A formerly fat fellow, now reduced to skeletal proportions following an illness. His deathly pallour and unsettling gaze well-become his position as Chief of Army Intelligence.
Marlene Dietrich. Gusteau's cat.
