The Blade's Club est. 1807 was founded as fencing and dining club for the great and the good of the United Kingdom. It boasts, in addition to an excellent cellar, and superb dining, an unsurpassable cricket team. Membership is free, and, of course, by invitation only, but all members are obliged to win or lose a minimum of £500 pa at the card tables, lest their membership be revoked.
In the past few years as an interesting circle has established themselves at the club, pitting their swords, bats, wits, and livers... to the test.
